Historic buildings and structures

We removed the paint and other coatings from the brick and wood in this old warehouse in Seattle. With the right abrasives we were able preserve the brick and wood which brought new life to the building.

Another historic building in the core of downtown Seattle has this great architectural concrete, but it was covered with years of paint. Sandblasting removed the paint and preserved the board form look.

Other Restoration Work where sandblasting is a good option Sandblasting:

  • Sandblasting with the right abrasive removes smoke damage from many surfaces and char from structural wood.

  • Sandblasting can refresh old concrete that as warn or weathered unevenly over the years. Leave it natural or stain and seal after the sandblasting for a little different appearance. The sandblasting leaves a surface that is well suited to receive these finishes.

  • Old stucco that is painted, discolored, or failing can be sandblasted to prepare it to receive a new color coat.
